April DeLuca is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. April is a native of Prattville, Alabama and attended Auburn University Montgomery, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with focus on Public Accounting, summa cum laude, in 2008. She moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and graduated in May 2012. Prior to joining DFH, April was a partner at Magic City Law in Mountain Brook, a boutique law firm specializing in family law for more than a decade. In that time, April has helped hundreds of clients on a wide range of family law matters. Additionally, April has represented several families in adding to their families via adoption.
April enjoys being active in the Birmingham Bar Association, Bessemer Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Alabama Bar Association. She has been actively involved in the community, most recently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce from 2023-2024.
A native of Prattville, AL, April is married to Jason DeLuca, and they have three children and live in Hoover.
