For over 29 years, Denise’s law practice has focused primarily in the area of family law. Over the last 15 years, Denise has become increasing involved in probate, estate, and trust litigation. As a result, Denise’s practice covers a broad range of complex family matters, including both domestic, probate, estate, and trust litigation. Denise’s domestic practice covers all aspects of family law including child custody, financially complex domestic litigation, division of retirement benefits, mediation, and pre- and post-nuptial planning, as well as enforcement proceedings. Denise’s probate, estate, and trust litigation practice includes an intensive collaboration with her partners in the Firm’s Estate and Probate Department to combine the depth of knowledge and experience necessary to comprehensively and efficiently address highly complex probate, estate and trust litigation matters for families facing adversity. Denise utilizes the unique skill sets available throughout the Firm to provide innovative solutions for each client. Denise is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and has just completed her second term as the President of the Alabama Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and presently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Alabama Chapter.
