Katie is an Associate in the Firm’s Corporate and Estate Planning practice groups. A native of Birmingham, Katie graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2017 with a dual J.D./M.B.A., and subsequently graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with her L.L.M. in Taxation in 2018. She completed her undergraduate studies at Sewanee: The University of the South.
After completing her studies at the University of Florida, Katie moved to Dallas, Texas, focusing her tax practice on corporate and individual International Tax at the Big 4 and local tax firms. She has extensive experience in tax planning, and tax compliance, and enjoys helping to navigate her clients through both the legal and the tax considerations of her clients’ business and personal goals.
Katie lives in Birmingham with her husband Zack, two stepchildren, and their dog Capo. She enjoys hiking on Ruffner Mountain, taking Pilates classes, and traveling in her spare time.
