William grew up in Birmingham, Alabama before leaving for a brief period to pursue an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Auburn University. After receipt of his degree William returned to Birmingham and began working at Dominick Feld Hyde, P.C. in 2017 as a runner. William was already enrolled in law school at Birmingham School of Law when he started at DFH, and he was quickly promoted to the position of paralegal.
During law school William was invited to serve as a law clerk for Judge Durward in the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. Although DFH was sad to see him leave, William pursued this wonderful opportunity until he graduated with honors as part of the top five in his class from BSL in May of 2021. DFH welcomed William back to work as a legal clerk and upon his passage of the Bar shortly thereafter he became an Associate Attorney.
William lives in Homewood and is a passionate cat dad. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, golfing, Formula 1 and finding ways to use his technological knowledge in his legal career, such as his video editing work for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Foundation’s online conference and charitable programs.
