11 Dominick Feld Hyde, P.C. lawyers named to 2019 Best Lawyers® list

Dominick Feld Hyde, P.C. is pleased to announce that 11 lawyers have been included in the 2019 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence.

Its first international list was published in 2006 and since then has grown to provide lists in over 75 countries.

William J. Bryant and Judy B. Shepura named 2019 Best Lawyers® "Lawyer of the Year" in the Birmingham area.

In addition to being listed in the 2019 Edition of Best Lawyers William J. Bryant and Judy B. Shepura were also recognized by Best Lawyers as the 2019 "Lawyer of the Year" in their respective practice areas in the Birmingham area.

Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year," making this accolade particularly significant. These lawyers are selected based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the peer review assessments.

Bill was named as “Lawyer of the Year” for Tax Law and Judy for Trusts and Estates. Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.

Shareholder, Vince Schilleci, was recently recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as a Rising Star of Law in the publication's October 12th edition. Five Dominick Feld Hyde, P.C. attorneys were named "B-Metro's Top Women Lawyers 2018". Shareholders Susan D. Doughton, Sammye Oden Kok, Denise Pomeroy, Judy B. Shepura, and Kay O. Wilburn were listed in the August edition of B-Metro Magazine. You can view the Women in Law section by clicking here.

Also featured in the August issue was associate, Christen D. Butler, who participated in a roundtable discussion focusing on the job, the culture and the impact of being a woman in court. The article can be read here.

Associate, Daniel Leverton, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Lakeside Hospice. Lakeside Hospice is a non-profit organization founded in 1991 that provides hospice care in Eastern Alabama. Lakeside Hospice has met the strict requirements to reach Partner Level – 1 Status with the We Honor Veterans campaign, a campaign developed by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
