Dominick Feld Hyde Holiday luncheon with Jefferson County and Shelby County Probate Courts

On December 4, 2014, the law firm provided a luncheon for the judges and staff of the Jefferson County Probate Court. Dominick, Feld Hyde provided platters of turkey, ham and dressing; while the court employees brought several wonderful side dishes and desserts. The dinner was served on the plaintiff’s and defendant’s counsel tables in Judge Alan King’s court room, and the diners shared their meals in the adjoining jury room. Since estate planning and estate administration are two of the primary practice areas of the firm, the lawyers of the firm frequently practice before the judges of the Jefferson County Probate Court, and the firm’s secretaries and paralegals are in contact with the court employees on a daily basis. The tradition of providing a Christmas luncheon for the Jefferson County Probate Court was begun almost 20 years ago. It offers the firm an opportunity to personally express thanks to the judges and staff of the court for their continued support and provides the employees of both organizations with an occasion to join in celebrating the Holiday Season.

On December 11, 2014, a smaller contingent of attorneys and paralegals traveled to Columbiana and provided a similar luncheon in Shelby County’s courthouse for Judge Jim Fuhrmeister and his probate court staff. This was a first. The Shelby County probate court hosts and DFH firm representatives enjoyed the chance to eat together and share a little time getting to know one another.
